Recently I read one of those books that totally blows up your mind. Titled “Simple Church” this book challanged me to re-think how we do minsitry at RVC. The main idea is that churches can easily become distracted into doing silly and un-important activities and forget they essential reason why they exist. This summer I have been so impassioned by this idea that I have bought copies of this book for all of our key leaders. We also have become to clarify exactly why we exist. Here is our simple plan for our simple church.

1 - We help people KNOW God through a persoanl relationship with Jesus Christ.

2 - We help people GROW in God through Bibel study, prayer, and Christian fellowship.

3 - We help people SERVE God by helping them discover thier spiritual gifts and use them in minsitry.
